BRASS & PIANO INSTRUCTOR
J. C. Bull is a graduate of the University of New Mexico, where he earned his Bachelor of Music in Performance with Honors. As a dedicated musician with five years of teaching experience, J. C. teaches piano, euphonium, tuba, and trombone, helping students of all levels build confidence, develop strong fundamentals, and achieve their individual musical goals.
J. C. believes that great musicians are built through a combination of fundamentals, expression, and discipline. His lessons provide a structured and encouraging environment that develops musicians. Whether a student is just beginning or preparing for auditions and performances, J. C. tailors each lesson to meet their individual needs while fostering discipline, creativity, and a lifelong appreciation for music.
As an active performer and educator, J. C. remains deeply involved in the music community. He regularly attends regional, national, and international conferences, workshops, and conventions to continue developing as both a musician and teacher. His professional development has recently included attendance at the Army Band workshop in Washington, D. C. and ITEC in Valencia, Spain. By continually learning from leading performers and educators, J. C. brings current teaching methods, fresh musical perspectives, and new ideas directly into his lessons.
Outside of teaching, J. C. enjoys reading, dancing, and spending time practicing every day to continue growing as a musician and educator. He is committed to lifelong learning and strives to inspire that same passion for excellence in each of his students.
