Director of American Jazz Dance Company, non-profit, nationally recognized dance troupe. She has 40+ years’ experience in our community as a dancer, teacher, and choreographer in all styles: ballet, contemporary, hip hop, jazz, lyrical, tap. Many of her students became career dancers: THE MUPPET MOVIE/screen productions; back-up dancers for Janet Jackson, The Black-Eyed Peas, and other artists; Rockettes; Dallas Cowboy/Houston Texan Cheerleaders; Disney parks; cruise lines. Winner of many choreography awards: Dance Olympus, Showstoppers, Tremaine, LA Underground, LA DanceMagic, LA Dance Force, New York City Dance Alliance, Jump, NUVO, and more. To her credit: Walt Disney’s “Donald Duck’s Birthday Celebration” in Houston, Galveston Festival on The Strand, Houston Festival, Woodlands Renaissance Festivities, Thanksgiving Day Parade, and numerous Klein HS Dramas. She led AJDC in 3 years of Walt Disney’s “Mickey’s Magical Gatherings”. Member of American College of Sports Medicine, American Council on Education, Aerobic & Fitness Association of America, and CEC certified instructor. Mother of two; grandmother of one.
