Dress code

(Note: All items available in VM boutique.)
No denim or jewelry!

  • Aerial Silks: Leotard, tights, no shoes; hair in a ponytail.
  • Ballet: Black leotard (levels wear VM black leotard), pink tights, pink ballet shoes; hair in a bun. Baby Ballet may wear pink or black leotard with hair in a ponytail.
  • Baton: Fitted shirt/tank & shorts (no t-shirt), slip-on jazz shoes; hair in a bun. (Team may have different requirements. See director.)
  • Cheer: T-shirt and shorts with cheer shoes; hair in a ponytail.
  • Contemporary: Black leotard, convertible tights, barefoot; hair in a bun.
  • Drill Training: Black leotard, black jazz pants, slip-on jazz shoes; hair in a ponytail.
  • Hip-Hop: Dance attire (can be t-shirt) with sneakers or jazz shoes; hair in a ponytail.
  • Jazz: Jazz pants with tights (no pajamas). Slip-on jazz shoes; hair in a bun or ponytail.
  • Male: Black or white T-shirt, black bike shorts or sweats, black socks, black dance shoes.

  • Modeling: Dress or skirt & top with dress shoes (or leotard and dance shoes).
  • Tap: Jazz pants with tights. Tan tap shoes (levels black oxford tap shoes); hair in a ponytail.

Students must wear cover-up to and from studio. No cheer or dance shoes worn outside. Keep all necessary items in a bag. Studio is not responsible for any loss or theft.
